However, as time passed, it became apparent that Elly Kedward didn’t feel the same way. But, being the kind and friendly people they were, the people of Blair welcomed Elly Kedward into their town with open arms. The townspeople, as I had said before, were very uncustom to new residents the only people they would see from the outside were travelers who would on occasion stumble upon their town. She was, as the legends go, an immigrant from Ireland who had decided to settle down in the town of Blair. Blair was a place where there were no unfamiliar faces or new people everyone knew each other and were friends with each other and that’s the way it had been for nearly eleven years.Īnd then, on a breezy autumn in 1785, the people of Blair were greeted with a new face. It was a town filled with hard workers and gentle faces and well-mannered children, a place where everyone went to church and had meals together and thanked God for bountiful harvests and healthy bodies.
